On 06th August 2010: The Federation of the Indo-Israel Chambers of Commerce (FIICC) honoured Mr. Ratan Tata as the ‘Businessman of the Decade’ in recognition of his outstanding contribution to business and industry.
The function was held at the Crystal Room of the Taj Mahal Hotel, Apollo Bunder and was graced by His Excellency Shri. K. Shankaranarayanan, the Governor of Maharashtra, who inaugurated the evening’s event.

Homai Vyarawalla: A Retrospective - Curated by Sabeena Gadihoke and presented by NGMA with the Alkazi Foundation for the Arts. (Feb 25th to 10th April 2011)
The exhibition portrays an illustrated journey through the rich photographic world of India’s first woman press photographer. It acknowledges Homai Vyarawalla’s role as a pioneer among women and her contribution to early photojournalism in India. The great value of her work lies in photographs that archive the nation in its infancy documenting the euphoria of independence.

Kolkatta, 08th April 2011: Dr. Kanak Rele, Founder and Director of Nalanda Dance Research Centre (NDRC) met with the Kolkatta Press to introduce NDRC and its activities.
The Press Conference was attended by the Kolkatta media - language and English. The discussions also included the dance ballet 'The Enlightened One - Gautama Buddha'. The production includes episodes from this life that highlights his message of mercy, non-violence and equality amongst all beings - a message very relevant in today's world of turmoil.
